Zidane reminds me of Shining Force 2's protagonist before he promoted and became cool. I guess Zidane wasn't that lucky.

Zidane is a fr00t. Worst Final Fantasy protagonist evar.

Usually I agree with your opinions, but definitely not this time! How you can say that when we have Vaan I can't imagine.

I wouldn't expect Liquid to do any gaining on Alucard during the day (this is a character who went even with Frog during the day). So if Alucard can distance himself with the night, he's at least got second locked up.

I don't know who I like for first, yet. I think Ness can swing a lot of votes here because he's going against three day vote chumps (Zidane actually lost the day vote to Crono). So I think Alucard needs a pretty hefty lead...I can't rule that out yet since we're still in the Power Hour but it's not looking terribly likely.

I think he'll need at least 1,000 on Ness. Perhaps considerably more.

If I'm feeling a bit confident about anything here, it's Liquid not finishing in the top two. That will salvage me at least two points. Make it four, Alucard!

On the topic of potential 4-way matches: I'd throw Dante/Leon/Balthier/Vivi in there, if Balthier is strong enough. Only problem would be the split square vote.

I think you can make arguments for any permutation at this point...it depends on how much the Power Hour resembles the day. If it does, Ness is screwed, if it doesn't, Liquid and Alucard are screwed.

Each and every MGS character has gone down in the day so far. That doesn't say anything compared to Alucard, but they're (sans Solid Snake) still pathetic during the day.

yeah, my thinking here is that the NPH is more like the day vote, and Ness didn't exactly do much with it.

Time..| Auron ...| Alucard
01:00 | 62.15% | 37.85%
02:00 | 60.72% | 39.28%

Alucard's looking to go up and up with the night vote at Ness's expense, and Liquid's probably going to do even better. based on the NPH, I'd think Alucard > Liquid slightly in the daytime, but that's just reaching. I definitely like the two night guys more than I like Ness, but I know better than to count Ness out come daytime.

daytime comes earlier than expected too, given that it's a weekend.

my thinking here is that the NPH is more like the day vote

That hasn't really been true this year, unless you want to say that the NPH is just a fraction of what the day vote looks like (ie Ness does twice as well in the day as in the NPH). Look at Master Chief for a good example of this: he did way better in the NPH than at night, and way better in the day than with the NPH.
