After watching WCC and now L-Block, I've got a lot more respect for what Missingno did.

And Charizard should never have been considered an upset. That was my most confident debated prediction since... jeez, maybe ever.

WCC beat the weakest character in the bracket by far. I think even the 127th character in the stats will end up getting like 60% on Sandal.

I don't know. I think Sandal could take on Eddie Riggs pretty easily!

I would've taken Isaac>HK-47 (not comfortably, but I figured he would be a bit stronger). Block got 63% on HK-47. This isn't that far off!

No one else would have, though. HK is a smidgen better than Lloyd, and I wouldn't have taken Isaac over Lloyd.

I think Missingno. has real strength, not joke strength, so I don't think he drops off so much next year.
I just realized that if No. actually gets one of his face pics, he's so screwed. No one will recognize him. Yoshi will destroy him and proceed to get whipped by Sephy, leaving Crono barely above Sandal in the final stats. Please give Missingno. a similar pic to what L-block just had.

The best possible result for my bracket would actually be a Missingno win followed by a loss to Sephiroth. That way, Sephiroth is even more hated and anti-voted against Snake.

Obviously I'll be voting Missingno all the way through barring a Mario > Link upset and the finals being Mario/Missingno.

Or if Shepard somehow beats Pikachu and Snake, though that one is far more unlikely.

Er... no, I mean I have L-Block defeating Kratos to lose to Bowser in Round 4.

Which still isn't out of the question.

I mean, how much would you expect Block to get on Duke Nukem? Char won't be blowing out Block by any means, I'm pretty sure of that. Even better if Char fails to advance, since him winning would seriously hurt my bracket and I'm just hitting the leaderboard :/

But I do feel like joke characters are only as strong as the joke is, and Missingno's ready to take the reins that L-Block brought in 2007.

How was Cloud/Sephiroth revenge voting? Cloud just didn't manage to SFF Seph, that's all, it lines up almost exactly with what Cloud and Seph were worth against each other in 2005.

How far into Cloud/Seph 2003 did Seph have the lead?

I think in my mind I'm gonna choose to believe that the match ended there, and we have since made all the X-stats off of Base-Sephiroth.

Cloud/Sephiroth 2k3 is a pretty obvious case of revenge-voting, I think. Even if you don't care one whit about FF7, a distraught Link fan could exercise his displeasure by voting against the character that beat Link (as opposed to Cloud/Seph from 2k4 onward, which had no similar subtext).

No way L-Block's getting past Charizard/Kratos. I knew that before the contest, and I was one of the people who thought L-Block was being underrated in 1v1 situations.

I like how even the match pic for Charizard/Kratos looks epic. This is going to be a great match.

Cloud/Sephiroth is a good case of revenge voting because both of them were FF7 characters. Distraught Link fans weren't going to care who won that.

Huh. Well I would have done the opposite as a Link fan had I been distraught over his loss (I was happy about having a new champion)- voted for Cloud so there was only 1 character better than Link instead of 2.
