It's
pretty damn amazing that Snake is not only beating Sephiroth, but by
such a decisive margin, too. This **** isn't even close. Sephiroth
hasn't even had a single damn cut yet. OK, enough time with this match. Gotta get more time in FF13 before I get bored and never beat it! --- Not Wylvane |

if Nintendo voters who'd normally vote for Link knew of and liked the
joke character and assumed that everyone else was on board the upset

I just wanted to say that I'm loving this Snake domination I never would have thought Snake could beat Sephy with this much room to spare. I figured it would be close, but I was hoping for 51% from Snake at best. Now if only this site could get good taste and vote Snake to the championship. Yeah, that's never going to happen. Still funny how this contest has had both the best result ever (this match, possibly Snake>Cloud on Saturday) and the worst result ever (Missingno>Crono). --- A pro isn't someone who sacrifices himself for his job. SNAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAKE!!! Awesome hyped match turns into a whipping, at least in the sense that Clinkeroth is supposed to be undefeatable (after that little Mario-mishap...!). Beating Cloud for twenty-four hours will be a challenge, but Solid beat him for forty-eight hours back-to-back in 2008 so I think he'll do it after a win like this. That character must be from any of these series "FF8, MGS series, Street Fighter Series and Pokemon Series" My suggestions if you're really listening to the board: FF8 - Seifer. The NRT's rallied for him before and he failed to make it, so a Guru-nom would definitely get him to at least the vote-ins. MGS - lots of fun options here. Meryl, Psycho Mantis, Grey Fox, Sniper Wolf, Colonel, Otacon...and that's just from MGS1. My personal preference says Volgin, but it would be hard to screw up a MGS-themed nomination. SF - Vega. M. Bison did well in 2005 and this was the most recent SF-poll: http://www.gamefaqs.com/poll/index.html?poll=3396 Pokemon - I'm learning a lot about Pokemon right now through Fire Red, but I don't know a LOT about the fanbase. It would be hard to go wrong with one from the original 151 Pokemon, and likewise if it's a starter-Pokemon or one of its evolutions AND/OR if it's had some kind of appearance in the SSB-series, playable or not. Jigglypuff would be interesting to some degree and complete the original SSB-roster, though I think it would bomb in comparison to many other Pokemon. There seems to be a weird demand for Professor Oak lately. My personal preference says Kadabra. Also keep in mind that nominating a Pokemon of your choice will likely affect the NRT-tournament and their support of Pokemon to some degree, though this shouldn't change your opinion on which Pokemon you'd like to nominate if you decide on one from this series. --- Picking Auron > Squall was dumb, but not as dumb as thinking I could beat Leonhart!
