missed some of the Snake discussion but I'm wondering if there's been a
character besides he and Kefka that have as much visible variance in

Team Rocket Elite posted... Could I get someone to help me archive the leaderboard page for the next week or so? I won't be around much from August 7th to August 12th. Specifically I need the leaderboards from Auron/Ocelot/Roxas to Amaterasu/Vyse/Adol. You'll need to save the actual page and not just the text in the leaderboard since I need the data in the graph (and you only need to save the page once since it will contain the information for all of the graphs). I just set up something that will automatically download the leaderboard page to my computer as an HTML file. This automatic download will occur every 12 hours, so I don't have to worry about missing a match. Also, I'm assuming KH was being a bit
facetious with his Ezio comparisons, but the dude's had two games and a
game that didn't feature him but people hated the new main character so
much that he couldn't even make the contest since 2010 (what a

I still find it rather weird that Gordon Freeman and Kerrigan can win contests an another major gaming site, yet they're still pretty much nobodies in a GameFAQs Contest setting. ESPECIALLY Kerrigan. Kerrigan doesn't deserve it either, although I haven't played StarCraft II so I guess I haven't witnessed her downfall there. I don't think Ezio is that much stronger (as in I doubt he scores more than 55% on his former self), the two new games aren't going to boost him that much and people hating the new main character is not going to boost him, at best it stops his fans from forgetting him. Bomberman's never really been a "classic" character. Bomberman games
have done well in the past, but he's not really iconic outside of Japan,

I really don't understand Kerrigan>Joker and Darth Vader I considered Kerrigan to be my favorite video game villain before HotS came out and I would never take her over Joker Unless this contest was before The Dark Knight or something but I doubt |

I remember because I have a friend who is a big Starcraft fan and he was trying to tell me how someone like Husky could get any Starcraft character to win these contests. Then I showed him the votals we get and he was floored (this was in 2010, I think). That being said, does anyone else think that Banelings could have legit strength here? |

CJayC said carriers weren't eligible when we tried back in 2004. Allen's a little more lax on this kinda stuff, but Ceej throwing down the banhammer on it probably stopped us from ever trying again. I remember that. No Starcraft Characters? The Starcraft contingent couldn't decide on a character to nominate, and no, "Mass Carriers" is not a character. Besides, how many people actually ever talk about the characters in the game? Also, he was right. No one really cares about the characters in the game. Knowing
what we know now about the power and extent of rallying and bandwagons,
I would have loved to see the FFVII vs. Starcraft match back in 2004.
It would have been on a Saturday night, the busiest time on Battle.net, 2
days after SC came back from 3800 down against SSBM and 7 days after SC
came back from 2000 down against WW. And 3 days after FFVII knocked
out OOT from the tourney, when the phrase "FFVII Always Wins" actually
held some truth. Starcraft would have likely started the match by burying FFVII with the early vote (it's always been very strong with the immediate start of a match). Then FFVII starts going within an hour or so (4 AM) and rolls for the next 16 hours. Then we'd see what magic Starcraft and rallying could work in the last 7 hours. --- Congratulations to SuperNiceDog, Guru Winner, who was smart enough to pick your 7 time champion, Link. |

I have an account that's level 30 and promptly stopped playing LoL when I got my beta key for the far superior Dota 2. I always found LoL lacking (coming from 5 years of Dota 1) and now that I'm on the other side of the fence again, I wish nothing but harm on Riot, LoL fanboys and the craptastic hero pool that game perpetuates. --- Game of the decade?
