don't understand your logic Kanzaris... do you think these ralliers are
going to feel like what... pity for Mario? So instead of doing this
they might let off or actually vote for him because they respect him?
Why all of a sudden do you feel Mario is better than Link? Mario, the
guy who has gone head to head with Link several times and been
absolutely dismantled him. Mario is an icon, but THIS SITE does not
respect him in the way you make it out to. They never have, they never will. Link will always crush Mario here, and if Link loses then the contest is over. --- Still smilin' :> |

But at the same time he also indicates that he intends to go further than this and get Riot on board, and even if he doesn't he says LoL is the biggest group so really by that same kind of logic I'm not sure counter-rallying would do anything except make this look less embarrassing! am seriously wondering (and worried) whether this'll also affect
matches from this point onward without Draven. We could really see
characters who usually would kill their round 2/3 matches get upset by a

Going to Capcom subreddit's isn't going to do s***. There are links on the fighting ones, including one in a Mike Ross AMA, there is a topic on Shoryuken. In the face of the single biggest rally in any popularity contest ever, Mario held up better than Link. Mario gets more and more powerful the more mainstream a poll becomes. This is fact, because Mario is gaming. He has a dozen genre defining games, he rescued gaming from the Crash, and he set every standard for what 3D could mean for the industry. He's not going to fold in the face of LoL unless RIOT intervenes in the finals. |
Is there any chance that rally post will show up on Reddit main page...? If it happens then I personally believe it will hurt Draven But it probably will stay on the LoL page and that's all |

People
are seriously underestimating Draven's raw voting power here. He is
getting more votes in these five minute updates than Link/Cloud 2k4
finals had combined in their 5 minute updates, and that had over 120k
votes. |

I don't need to "catch up." I'm not someone trapped in the 90s of gaming. You need to actualize that LoL and the MOBA genre are just not popular on this board, or among this site's members. Just because you like something doesn't mean everyone in the community you're posting on can. A site for FAQs is going to draw a different demographic than a normal video game site. For instance, I'm a fighting game nut, but it's not a popular genre on this site for obvious reasons. Never do I have the ego to think other people here just don't like it because they haven't tried it. It's just not up this site's alley. Neither are MOBAs. The disconnect between our site and Draven isn't "oh boo hoo, Draven is from a new game." I'm the kind of guy who thinks that if GameFAQS is one of the biggest gaming sites in the world (and it is), then it should have a genre representation that matches the mainstream, and the characters should consequently be appropriately strong based on the impact they make on people and how appealing their character designs are. |

Mario with ridiculous amounts of rallies on every Nintendo subreddit and
whatnot pushing against LoL, sure, I can buy a glimmer of a chance that

Is
link looking weaker this year? I wasn't impressed at all with his first
round. Link hasn't been in any well received games since like...brawl
in 2008. I think if Draven wins vs Link part of it is because Link is declining in popularity. |
