is my attempt at a best system bracket. As I made it I started to think
that maybe a contest where fully 1/3 of the entrants are Nintendo isn't
going to be super good. Yeah and if you check the contest History you will learn that from
2003 to 2005 FF won everything. Best character, FF 7 best game,
Sephiroth Best Villain, Final Fantasy Best Series. Even after that it
always did good but not win. I mean even in our first GOTD contest in
2010 FF 10 barely lost the championship. However after that seems that people just stopped caring for FF as time went on. I mean it does makes sense. The last FF game that everyone in the fanbase agrees that is damn good is FF 10. FF 11 is online, we don't care. FF 12 changed the combat system so much that a lot of people were confused. FF 13 is the most hated main FF game since the old days. Nobody cares for FF 13-2 and FF 13-3. FF 14 was online so we don't care for that too. FF 15 is still not considered great because after 10 years people wanted something more. Plus a ton of DLC and you have to watch a movie to understand the story better! Why? Even FF 7 remake seems to be divisive especially with the ending. On the other hand Zelda series always keeps improving. Okay almost always. Eh whatever. The series still sell but yeah. So why we exist? What happens when we stop existing? Azuarc the best Guru of the 2020 Contest! Nice job man! |

This isn’t even like a 2600 situation where it was exciting at the time and now feels outdated. The 3DO was always pretty bad. For your Azuarc . we have consoles we need at least 64 of them to have a decent bracket.
Yeah fodders everywhere but even in GOTD 2 1/3 of the entries were

that is fair. It is the nature of the consoles. In every generation we
have 3-4 dominant consoles. But so many come out. So why they shouldn't
be allowed? So why we exist? What happens when we stop existing? Azuarc the best Guru of the 2020 Contest! Nice job man! |

it looks like this site has 129 "systems" that includes heavy hitters like "blackberry", "dvd player", and "redemption" (skee-ball has a page on this site?!) there's s*** in there I have absoutely never heard of. Does anyone here know what a Casio Loopy is? also 2 of them are PS5 and Series X so I guess what I'm saying is... let's wait until the next consoles release and have a 128 system contest with every system on this site except the 3DO. Talk
of a console contest is making me feel incredibly young as there are
multiple things like the 3DO that you guys are talking about as if
everyone had one when I legitimately have never even seen one in real
life before. I was the final Undisputed Champion in UCA history, but azuarc was our Guru Champion! |

It
came out just before I was born, which isn't really an excuse since I
grew up with the SNES and Genesis despite them being multiple years
before my time, so it's definitely a case of it just being a horrible
failure. I'm sure people who were in their early teens back then are probably more aware of it though, purely from being around when (or if) there was marketing and being in the gaming scene. I was the final Undisputed Champion in UCA history, but azuarc was our Guru Champion! |

had a 3DO in the house but I barely remember anything that I played on
it. I think my Dad ended up selling it fairly quickly as it was barely

This makes me wonder... The game only takes about an hour to see everything in it and the only gameplay consists of making choices at specified parts. It can be "played" by watching youtube videos and loses basically nothing (There's technically a "score" that has no impact on anything but gets affected when you make one of the "wrong" choices).
